Established in 1911, UnitingCare Burnside (Burnside) is a leading not-for-profit child and family organisation in NSW. Burnside is a part of UnitingCare Children Young People and Families, a service group of UnitingCare NSW.ACT, a part of the Uniting Church in Australia.
Burnside delivers more than 60 programs across NSW in disadvantaged communities in South Western and Western Sydney, the Central and Mid North Coasts and the Far West. Our services include early intervention and prevention, family support, intensive child protection and care for children in foster and residential care. Last year, more than 13,000 people across NSW benefited from Burnside's services.
UnitingCare Burnside's Social Justice Unit leads our work in research and advocacy so that our services are effective and evidence based, and we use our unique perspective to create positive change for children and young people.
