About the Campaign
UnitingCare Burnside celebrates its Centenary this year. To celebrate 100 years of caring and highlight the ongoing need for action to support vulnerable children and young people the '…because children matter' campaign tells personal stories of hope and change from our service users, staff, and supporters over 10 weeks.
Each day during the campaign, we will share a story that puts a human face on issues that need our attention and action.
This website is focused on five areas where UnitingCare Burnside believes change for children and young people is necessary and possible:
Through the campaign, we aim to bring together an advocacy community. We invite you to join us and help strengthen our social justice work – creating a lasting legacy from our Centenary celebrations.
How to use the website:

These issues are complex. If you're interested in finding out more about what the research and evidence tells us, you can take a look at the Facts and Figures pages.
We are also continuing the conversation on Twitter and Facebook. You can drop in and comment or follow the campaign
